Kim Kardashian rarely steps out without looking flawless, and she’s got one man to thank: her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic! Mario spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the 5th Annual Beautycon LA Festival on Sunday about Kim’s makeup routine and how fans themselves can master her signature look.
“Oh good, I have all of them!” Mario joked of his knowledge of Kardashian beauty secrets. “One beauty tip that would be really good – it would have to be the undereye technique that they’re all known for, which is basically Kim’s conceal, bake, brighten.”
“It’s that layering of the concealer and then the baking powder and then the brightening powder over it. It just sort of gives them that light undereye that they really love,” he explained.
To avoid any mistakes, Mario said fans should focus on their blending techniques. “It’s all about the blending. If you blend the initial concealer really, really well and you go with a light hand on the loose powder, you’re good,” he shared.

Mario, who has teamed up with Kim to release a makeup collection, KKW X Mario, said having his own collection would be his “ultimate goal.” “I feel like the past 18 years of my career have been sort of the practice and the stepping stone for that. I can’t tell you when, but do know that I’ve been working pretty hard on that, so it will come in the future,” he said.
While Mario continues to be Kim’s go-to makeup artist, the E! star has parted ways with another family friend, Joyce Bonelli, who did the family’s makeup for years. The family even unfollowed Joyce on Instagram, but she insists she wasn’t fired.
