Lamar Odom has been fighting for his life – and there is more hope today that he may win. From a successful kidney dialysis to the former basketball player squeezing Kim Kardashian’s hand, get latest updates on his condition.
A source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that there has been “a few encouraging moments.” The former NBA star “briefly fluttered open his eyes and at one point Kim Kardashian believed he squeezed her hand.”
The New York Daily News reported that the signs of improvement are from a successful dialysis treatment after kidney failure. While Lamar has a 50/50 percent chance of survival at the moment, upcoming tests could see if he will continue to improve.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar are still married because a judge hasn’t signed off on the divorce yet, making her in charge of Lamar’s medical care. According to People, Khloe is “not doing well at all with the responsibilities of making medical decisions.” Since the experience is “overwhelming” for her, she is asking those around her for advice. “She realizes that these are literally decisions of life and death,” the insider said. “She wasn’t prepared to take on this responsibility.”
Today, more members of the Kardashian/Jenner family are turning to social media to ask fans to pray for the former basketball player. “Let’s dance again together soon. Prayers up for Lamar please," Kylie Jenner captioned a photo of the duo dancing in a car. The sometimes-social media shy Rob Kardashian posted a photo of the brothers-in-law hugging. He captioned the photo, “Praying nonstop for my brother!!” Kourtney Kardashian shared a sweet snap of Lamar and her son Mason with the caption, “Believing in the power of prayer for this beautiful soul.”

While reports claimed the reality star took cocaine prior to being found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel, owner Dennis Hof confirmed to Wendy Williams that the claims are true. He explained how Lamar did take the drug, but not at the brothel. “He was very honest,” Dennis explained. “He said, ’I’ve been partying in Vegas. I had done some coke on Saturday. I didn’t bring any with me out of respect to Dennis and the business.” He also confirmed that Lamar spent $75,000 at the ranch.
