Leah Messer Looked Worse For Wear While Out With Twins Months Before Custody Loss – See The Shocking Photos!

Although Leah Messer claimed that she changed following a stint in rehab for stress and depression, the Teen Mom 2 star appeared disheveled during a family day with her daughters Ali and Aleeah, 5, and Adalynn, 2, only months before losing custody to ex-husband Corey Simms.

The mother-of-three seemed overwhelmed during a summer church event with her daughters on July 23.

After months of Corey accusing Leah of abusing prescription painkillers and dropping off her children late, he was granted full custody of the twins on October 7.

“I have done so much to become a better person, it was like a slap in the face at first,” Leah, who entered rehab in June to learn to deal with her stress and anxiety, told Us Weekly. “It hurt me. It made me angry.”

Leah has already filed a motion for the court to reconsider the decision. “At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy,” she explained to the magazine.

Despite being accused of being a “bad mother” by her ex, the twins had a blast with their mother. “Aleeah’s talked about running away,” Leah said, adding that the twins are “miserable” with their father.

From spanking her children to getting them to bed at midnight on a school night, Leah doesn’t blame herself for losing custody. Although the twins’ school claimed they were late to class multiple times, which was the main factor in the judge’s decision, Leah feels the school made a mistake. “I’m sending them the time-stamped pictures I took to prove the girls were not tardy,” Leah said.

Although Leah has lost custody of Ali and Aleeah, she still has primary custody of her daughter Adalynn with her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
