Mariah Carey is calling on all her celebrity friends for her latest music video. The Grammy award winner, 49, released yet another brand-new video for her recent number 1 hit song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The star-studded visual featured over two dozen of the songstress’ celebrity friends and favorite artists across the world all singing along to the Christmas classic.
In the 4 minutes video, appearances were made by Andy Cohen, Ariana Grande, Brandy, Chance The Rapper, Heidi Klum, James Corden, Missy Elliot, Kim Kardashian West, Jojo Siwa, Zoe Kravitz, Kris Jenner, Ryan Reynolds, Trevor Noah, Ryan Seacrest, and tons more.
Prior to releasing her celebrity edition for “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” Mariah surprised fans with a new video on Thursday, December 19, in honor of the iconic holiday song hitting number one on the music charts for the first time in 25 years since its initial release in 1994.
In the clip, Mariah was seen sporting several elaborate outfits including a sexy Santa Claus onesie, a Nutcracker leotard and a plunging shimmery red gown. The “We Belong Together” singer’s twin children, Monroe and Moroccan, were also featured in the video, along with their dog, Cha Cha.

During a live Q&A session, the Queen of Christmas reflected on her hit single. “We wanted to make a modern classic and that has been the theme from the beginning,” the songstress revealed. Mariah also revealed that the revamped video was “the opposite from the original video … This is more of a production, but I feel like it has the same spirit if not more because of how the song has affected me over the years.”
Mariah also opened up about why the song was so special to her saying, “I think the fact that it’s endured this whole time and people tell me it really makes them feel festive and even in the middle of July people will send me videos of people singing the song.” Adding, “As a songwriter, it’s a very big accomplishment.”
Since the song’s release, Mariah has earned $60 million in royalties. In November 2019, the “Honey” singer’s song broke three Guinness World Records including having the highest-charting holiday song on the Hot 100 by a solo artist, along with the most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours with over 10.8 million streams in December 2018.
The holiday classic also broke the record for most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song.
