Mariah Carey may have recently dealt with the end of a marriage, but it seems like she is already preparing to jump into her next one! She and beau James Packer are clearly on the fast track to love, and now there is talk of a billion-dollar dream wedding!
“It’s going to be so over-the-top,” a source tells OKMagazine.com exclusively. This should not come as a shock, considering James is the 4th wealthiest man in Australia with an estimated net worth of $4.6 billion, and Mariah is a self-proclaimed diva. We can only imagine what her diva demands will be ahead of the nuptials!
And James has already made his commitment to Mariah quite clear early on. In the beginning stages of their romance (which was mere weeks ago), he and Mariah hung out in Ibiza on his yacht with her two children, Monroe and Moroccan. They later traveled to Israel, which was rumored to be for a “pre-engagement meeting.”

Then this past week, Mariah dedicated her hit song “Hero” to James after he came to her latest concert in Las Vegas. She also flaunted a stunning $500,000 yellow diamond heart necklace he gifted her with. We’d swoon too!
It sounds like both she and James are completely smitten with one another, and it doesn’t hurt that “James is obsessed with celebrity,” an insider says, “and landing an A-list bride like Mariah is a dream come true.”
We’re sure it is a dream come true for Mariah as well, who apparently is sparing no expense as she plans for the big day, which is no big deal to James of course.
“Mariah’s already planning the ultimate showbiz wedding, as per James’s instructions,” the source notes. What kind of wedding to you see them having with a $1 billion budget? Let us know your thoughts about Mariah and James’ plans in the comments section below.
