It was supposed to be an amazing night for country singer Miranda Lambert at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards, however two people there seemed to have put a damper on her entire evening. The two in question were her ex husband Blake Shelton and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, who the “Kerosene” singer refused to make eye contact with during the big award show, according to InTouch Weekly. Miranda was on stage quite a bit during the ceremony, where a witness said that Blake and Gwen were in “her direct line of sight”. Awkward!
While Miranda performed her song “Keeper of the Flame,” the two awkwardly “sat still and did not exchange glances or words with one another the entire time,” according to the witness. That wasn’t the only time that night where Blake and Gwen looked to be bit squeamish while sharing the room with his ex.
When Miranda accepted Song of the Year for “Tin Man”, she refused to make eye contact with her ex. However, she pointed out that her album, The Weight of These Wings, was recorded shortly after she and Blake split, and she thanked the audience for sharing her “broken heart.” Yikes.

The crowd, for the most part, looked to be Team Miranda that night. Even though she attended the event solo (she recently broke up with musician Anderson East), the country singer won a ton of awards throughout the evening while Blake and Gwen were largely ignored.
“There were many moments when throughout the night when people socialized, but Blake and Gwen remained in their seats,” the witness alleged. “No one approached to speak to them.” Looks like its one point for Miranda and none for Blake and Gwen.
