There’s no engagement envy here! Sofia Vergara’s ex Nick Loeb opened up about his former fiancé’s engagement to Joe Manganiello and it turns out he wishes them nothing but the best!
Loeb told Us Weekly the “majestic” Modern Family star “deserves happiness.”
“She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved,” said. “Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring.”
Loeb and Vergara had dated on and off since 2010 and were engaged until they broke it off in May.
Vergara started dating Joe just two months later in July.
In October, though, Sofia and Nick met up while in New York and sources told OK! they were “cheery” while chatting.

They also had an awkward run-in on the red carpet for the 2014 Angel Ball in New York, where Joe was caught whispering in Sofia’s ear.
After that incident, an insider told OKMagazine.com that Joe gave Sofia an ultimatum to get Nick out of the picture for good.
“Joe has been very patient about Sofia’s friendship with Nick,” the insider told OK! “But seeing him show up on the red carpet recently was the final straw. He’s told Sofia that he wants this guy gone for good – or he’s outta there and they’re welcome to each other.”
The Magic Mike hunk proposed to Sofia in Hawaii on Christmas Day. The pair was vacationing there along with Sofia’s Colombian family for his 38th birthday.
Their relationship had been going on strong for months, spending their first holiday together for Thanksgiving with her family, who “approved of” Joe.
