Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Jionni LaValle’s marriage could be in crisis after news broke of his alleged Ashley Madison account. But a source close to Polizzi exclusively revealed to OKMagazine.com that the couple’s relationship has been tumultuous for years.

“They have had some issues in the past,” the insider told OKmagazine.com. “They have had some knockdown, drag out fights in their relationship. Usually Jionni was the one who was starting the arguments.”

The insider added that the parents of Lorenzo, 3, and Giovanna, 10 months, argue over “her partying” and “his partying.”

LaValle’s possible Ashley Madison account isn’t the first time he has been accused of cheating on the Jersey Shore alum. In January, reports claimed that the MTV star exchanged numbers with a mystery woman while out in Florida. When asked if LaValle has been unfaithful in the past, the insider explained, “I think where there is smoke there is fire. He is frequently away on golf trips with his boys and they go out and party.”
