The Will & Grace actress ditched a bikini for the trip, opting for a long sleeve shirt and bottoms with no makeup and glasses in Cancun on Dec. 23.
The 47-year-old was not too concerned about getting a tan in her outfit, but did hit some wacky poses while sunbathing.

Messing, who split from husband of twelve years, Daniel Zelman, in 2012, recently opened up about her 11-year-old son, Roman Walker Zelman, calling him a big influence on her life.

"My son has changed me in the most fundamental way," she told AOL.com. "I think what he teaches me is to really, really look at the world in this moment. He's learning and changing so much, and he's forming opinions about the world. And those opinions are changing, because he's growing up ... it's a reminder of the fact that everything changes ... Don't stay stuck."
