The moment all Kardashian fans have been waiting for is finally here: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have dressed their daughter North West in pink! The one-year-old ditched her usual neutral colors for a pink ballet tutu.
The tot looked pretty in pink as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star carried her ballerina to dance class. Proud dad Kanye was also in attendance for the once-in-a-lifetime moment!
Ever since Nori made her debut, she’s been rocking colors like black and grey. Kim even opened up to Lucky about why she doesn’t dress her daughter in girly shades. “She doesn’t like pink or purple. She likes greys, creams, oatmeal colors and black,” she told the magazine. “Every once in awhile she’ll add in some color, like with her little red Air Yeezys, but other than that she likes to keep it pretty simple.”
We all know that the tot has a black tutu at home, so why is the reality star opting for the hue after all this time? A source told RadarOnline.com that Anna Wintour “doesn’t understand why North’s parents dress her in all black. Anna is not a fan of all black, and thinks it’s just inappropriate for North to be in dark colors."
Vogue’s editor-in-chief even asked Kim about the dreary colors. “Kim replied that several designers had sent North pastel or pink outfits, and Anna replied she would look forward to seeing the toddler in color.” Clearly the duo took Anna’s advice!

The insider added, “Expect Anna to send something pink for North’s second birthday in June. It would be very unsavory for North to not wear the designer outfit!” Could the tutu be an early birthday present from Anna?!
The only other time North has been spotted in pink was when she flaunted pink Dr. Marten’s for Valentine’s Day.
Also there to witness the breaking news was Kourtney Kardashian and her 2-year-old daughter Penelope. North’s cousin is a pro at sporting pink ensembles, so we wouldn’t be surprised if she picked up some pointers from her fabulous family member!
