Just a few weeks after Apollo Nida shared that he is still fighting to see his two sons, Ayden and Dylan, as he serves his prison sentence, a source has revealed to RadarOnline.com that he may be closer than ever to his little ones visiting him.
According to the insider, Nida’s estranged wife, Phaedra Parks, recently consulted with mental health experts about their sons visiting Nida is prison.
“Apollo wants to see the boys, but he spoke to a childhood expert with Phaedra and they came to the conclusion this wouldn’t be the best time for a visit,” the source said.
However, the source said that the two have been working on co-parenting since Nida relocated to a New Jersey prison from the Kentucky prison where her first began serving his sentence. And the insider added that Parks remains open to eventually taking their sons to see their dad.

“He continues to talk to the boys several times a week,” the source said. “Phaedra and Apollo are continuing to co-parent.”
“There will be a time when the boys will of course see their dad,” the source added.
The source continued, “Phaedra doesn’t want to keep the kids away from their dad for eight years! It’s just a matter of the visit being appropriate, given the fact that the boys are so young, and it could be hard for them to process.” Do you think Phaedra will take Ayden and Dylan to see Apollo?
