Pregnant Jessa Duggar Getting Baby Advice From Sister Jill: ‘I Am Not Comparing’

Who better to get pregnancy advice from than your big sister, who literally just had her baby? That’s exactly who Jessa Duggar of 19 Kids And Counting is looking to now that she’s pregnant!

The 22-year-old has been tapping her sister Jill Duggar, 23, for advice on pregnancy and babies, she told People, because she “has all the knowledge and training.”

Jill and husband Derick Dillard just welcomed their first child, Israel David Dillard, on April 6 and Jill just so happens to be a student midwife, making her the perfect resource!

And while Jill went through a 70-hour labor ordeal, Jessa said she is not worried or comparing her pregnancy to her sister’s.

Jessa said she is planning for a home birth with a midwife, just as her sister did—though it didn’t go exactly as planned and ended up happening in a hospital.

“I want to just be prepared that not everything may go as planned and try not to get too worried about it,” Jessa admitted.

The sisters can also bond about morning sickness because Jessa, who is in her second trimester, said she had been experiencing the symptom, just as Jill did during her pregnancy.

"I would sit in bed and eat crackers, hoping the nausea would pass,” she said, adding that her husband, Ben Seewald, has been “so sweet” and “waiting on me hand and foot.”

The soon-to-be mother also has her own mother, Michelle Duggar, to ask for advice—and with 19 kids, she’s certainly a pro! The mother-daughter duo have clearly been helping each other, as Jessa revealed her cravings.
