Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Garcelle Beauvais has split from boyfriend Michael Elliot just months after they went public with their romance. The reality star announced she was "single" on Instagram, and the news took her fans and friends by surprise.
"Plot twist ... I'm single," Garcelle's post read. "I doubt you'll stay single for long. You're drop dead gorgeous," one fan wrote in the comments section of her post. "Your next move will be your best move beautiful. This is why I do not post pics of anyone that I don’t have a marriage license with on social media. Thangs can change quick! Dust yourself off and keep it moving!" another person added. "RIP to your DMs," a third fan joked.
The breakup seems to have come out of the blue. Garcelle made her relationship with Michael Instagram official in December 2019, and she gushed about him at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards luncheon in Beverly Hills on February 6.
"Oh, my God, he’s been so great. The fact that he even agreed to be on the show … we’ll see him a little bit. It’s been really, really cool and really fun," she told Us Weekly while confirming Michael's upcoming appearances on RHOBH.

The actress announced announced she was joining the show for season 10 on August 29. "I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As the first African-American Housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!” she said in a statement to The Daily Dish at the time.
The Coming to America star recently went into further detail about bringing some diversity to the cast. "It's about time. I mean, we're in every zip code, are we not? So, hello! I've always watched the show, but to be in it and see all the crazy all around me? So fun. So fun," she told E! News.
