'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Star Emily Simpson Hosts Elegant Friendsgiving Bash For Charity

Giving back! Emily Simpson hosted a friendsgiving party at her house in Laguna Niguel, California, earlier this week for a very special cause. The Real Housewives of Orange County star asked her friends to donate to the Theriault House, a homeless shelter, at the bash.

Emily, 43, shared a slew of photos from the event on Instagram and gave followers a serious case of FOMO!  "Another successful #friendsgiving! I only had one day to throw a dinner party together at my house for over 20 girlfriends, but I scrambled and made it happen," the Bravo star captioned her post.

The mother of three continued, "A HUGE thank you to all my girlfriends for coming to friendsgiving and donating so many items to the Theriault House, which is a 24 hour emergency shelter for homeless families with children @ifhomeless I can’t wait to drop off all the donated items and tour the home!"

Emily then asked her fans for their ideas for friendsgiving parties and if they like to add charity into the mix. "Who else has a friendsgiving? Do you make it a charity event? ... I always need good ideas to make each year bigger and better," Emily asked. The lawyer also added the Thanksgiving-appropriate hashtags, "#charity, #donate, #giveback,  #friends, #love,  #girlfriends, #thankful, #givethanks, #thanksgiving" and "#funemily."

Emily showed off her recent weight loss with a black B’CAUSE V-neck body suit, a red velvet ruffled mini skirt, knee high black suede boots and gold hoop earrings. The snaps had her friends cooking, mingling and posing together all throughout the fun night.

The Ohio native seems to be bouncing back quite nicely after her painful hip replacement surgery. She underwent the procedure in late October and was even forced to use a wheelchair to film the RHOC reunion on November 12. Emily has been in recovery since last month and has been working on gaining her strength back.
