According to RadarOnlinewhile Joe was in prison, he lost 45 pounds, and focused his attention on improving his body and mind. “Joe works out up to five days a week,” a prison source revealed to Radar. Another insider claimed that fitness was his “only stress reliever” and had no choice but to cut down on his caloric intake due to the practically “inedible food options.”

Joe seemed happy and healthy in pictures taken of him since his release. His oldest daughter, Gia, took to Instagram to share a new picture of him on October 13. Joe stood next to his brother Pete, and looked slim and trim. “So happy you’re together right now,” she captioned the image. “Enjoy see you in a few weeks daddy.” He wore a white polo shirt and black pants, with a fresh haircut. His arms appeared more toned, and his face looked thinner.

Immediately upon his release, the father-of-four was transferred to the Clinton County Correctional Center in Pennsylvania. His daughters had not seen him since, as the facility made it impossible for them to reunite, according to the family’s attorney.
