It finally happened – Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes actually graced the world with their joint presence early Sunday morning (and it was perfect)! The usually (extremely) private couple made a rare public appearance following Ryan’s hosting of Saturday Night Live.
The smiling parents (they have two daughters, Esmeralda 3, and Amada, 1) held hands as paparazzi caught them heading into New York City's Tao nightclub, where the celebrity-filled SNL afterparty was held.
Ryan, 36, kept it casual as he rocked a patterned sweater, jean jacket, and navy slacks, while Eva, 43, donned a 70's inspired patterned jumpsuit, with chunky black peep-toe heels.
The couple’s public outing comes after years of the two attending movie premieres, award shows, and even business launches completely solo.

“What people don't know about me is that I love being home," Eva told Shape in its March issue when asked why she and Ryan don’t attend a lot of public events together. "Instead of hitting the red carpet, I'd rather be with our girls."
Clearly, she made an exception.
