Selena Gomez Breaks Down While Singing Justin Bieber-Inspired Song At The American Music Awards

Selena Gomez brought everyone – including herself – to tears with her dramatic performance of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

When the 22-year-old stepped on the stage, a recording of the songstress talking blasted through the speakers. “When I was on stage and I was thinking of… I know him though, and I know that I know his heart, and I know what he wouldn’t do to hurt me,” viewers heard.

But the most dramatic image of all was towards the end of her performance, when a man’s shadow appeared with his hands against the foggy screen. That image confirmed that the song is about Selena’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.

It’s no secret that Justin has come between Selena and Taylor Swift’s friendship in the past, but now it looks like the songstresses are back to being BFFs! As the crowd applauded Selena, the “Blank Space” singer got on her feet and cheered with tears in her eyes. We had trouble keeping it together too, Taylor!

Justin was definitely eating his heart out during the performance! Selena stunned in a pale pink gown, as the dress showed off her legs and cleavage!
