Selena Gomez reunited with ex Samuel Krost in New York City on Tuesday, October 29. The pair grabbed a bite at La Esquina in the Soho neighborhood with a group of pals. The singer has been single for two years following her painful split from Justin Bieber, but she recently revealed that she's open to dating again.
Selena, 27, and Samuel, 26, were first linked in 2015 during one of her many off periods with Justin, 25. They were spotted on vacation together with friends in January 2016, and later that month they were photographed holding hands while leaving 1OAK nightclub in Los Angeles. Samuel seemingly confirmed their split in August 2018 in a message that he posted and then deleted from Instagram.
"Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings. All you superficial people who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real. Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel," Samuel wrote in screenshots obtained by Elle.
The "Lose You To Love Me" songstress has been in the Big Apple promoting her album. Just minutes after her new single dropped, Justin's wife Hailey Baldwin seemingly shaded Selena by posting a screenshot of Summer Walker’s “I’ll Kill You” song to her social media. After fans began speculating that Hailey was sending a not so subtle message to Selena, the model hopped on Twitter to squash the rumors. "Please stop with this nonsense … there is no ‘response’. This is complete BS," Hailey tweeted.

The Texas native recently confessed that she's open to dating again after healing her heart from her breakup from the "Sorry" crooner.
“I’ve been super, super single for two years. I want to know what that love will look like next for me. I want it to be real and I don’t want it to be co-dependent or messy or lack of communication. When you get older, you find people who are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength as you," she said during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show.
She continued, "I don’t have room to buffer things that I need or that I want. I think girls can sometimes be scared of that, because we’re viewed as crazy or needy or overthinking things or dramatic. I understand sometimes, but I love being a girl and I love having the emotions I have, falling super deep and being passionate. It’s just about containing it and channeling it in the right areas. But I never want to lose the sense of love that I imagine it to be. I don’t want to be jaded or bitter from anything. I believe that it exists. I’m happy waiting for that for however long it takes because we’re going to be doing this forever.”
