Well, it looks like Operation Make Kanye West and Taylor Swift Friends Again is in full effect! The two mega stars were spotted out for dinner together last night in NYC, and this could only mean one thing—new music is in the works!

Taylor was first spotted by paparazzi leaving her TriBeca apartment wearing a peacoat, tights, and heels that are way too high for when it's twenty degrees outside.

And it turns out Tay was meeting up with Kim Kardashian's hubby at the Spotted Pig restaurant! Kanye is still in town for New York Fashion Week.

Kanye confirmed last week on On Air With Ryan Seacrest that he and Taylor are going to work on new music together, saying "Yeah, she Taylor wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in. Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get in the studio and work."

This will be an interesting collaboration, considering how different the two artists' music is, and of course considering the fact that they seem to have had almost nothing to do with each other since Kanye crashed Taylor's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs!

But this year's Grammys held on Feb. 8 were the first hint that there could be a collaboration in their future. Ye and Tay were seen getting chummy and giggling together during the show.

But new music aside, what could these two possibly have to talk about? Both Kanye and Taylor have been in high-profile relationships, landed major Vogue covers, and won approximately a thousand Grammy awards, so we highly doubt there was a lull in the dinner conversation.
In recent months, Taylor has also been seen out with Justin Timberlake and Jay Z (who, along with Beyonce, Selena Gomez, and a gaggle of models celebrated Taylor's birthday with her in December), who she is also reportedly working on new music with. She's already gone pop—looks like Tay's next phase is hip hop!
