Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis crashed her car into a guardrail in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on August 2 with her kids in the vehicle. She kept the event from the father of her children, Thomas Ravenel. The former politician, 56, reportedly expressed outrage that he didn’t find out about the incident from her.

According to The Blast, on August 2, the mother-of-two, 26, Kathryn drove north on Highway 17 when she claimed her children distracted her in the back seat. She claimed this led to the subsequent crash.

The accident report stated, “Her vehicle then struck a guard rail before hitting three trees and two light poles and coming to a rest on the southbound side of the roadway.”

It added that, "seat belts and car seats were being used at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported."

The Blast also reported that Thomas would have preferred to “have been informed by the mother of his children,” as he didn’t find out directly from Kathryn.

The reality stars are involved with a nasty custody battle for their children, and Kathryn keeping the car accident secret from Thomas adds insult to injury.
In July, it was reported that the former politician hired private investigators to follow his ex for nine months before seeking full custody. Thomas doesn’t think Kathryn is stable to care for their children.
