Hannah, 25, bumped into Tyler, 26, right before the ceremony started. “Yeah, I actually saw him with his mom and, and I said hello to them. So I think it's really sweet that he brought his mom,” she told OKMagazine.com.
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph sat next to Hannah, while Tyler and his mom sat across the table. The former Miss Alabama appeared to be more engaged in conversation with Colton, 27, and Cassie, 24, leaving Tyler left out. “The three of which are cracking up like besties the whole show,” an insider told OK! “Tyler is out of the loop on the three-way joke fest.”
Cassie and Colton stepped away from the table at one point and Tyler took the opportunity to move in closer and sit next to Hannah! The model reportedly got close to his ex-girlfriend as he tried to have a meaningful conversation.
As OK! readers know, Hannah and Tyler met up at her home in Los Angeles days after the finale of The Bachelorette and he spent the night. Just days later, Tyler was seen leaving Gigi’s apartment in New York City.
Since Tyler and Gigi’s split, he’s made a public effort to cheer on Hannah. The night before the People’s Choice Awards he tweeted about the University of Alabama loss against Louisiana State University and said he hoped Hannah would have better luck. "Bama couldn’t get it done today. Hopefully Hannah does tomorrow. The state needs it!" he wrote.
Tyler, Colton and Hannah competed in the same category for Competition Contestant of 2019. The Dancing With The Stars contestant took home the prize!
Hannah hugged Colton but didn’t hug Tyler before going on stage to accept her award. “This award means a lot to me because it just affirms that it's OK to be vulnerable and put your heart out there,” she told the audience. “Thank you for allowing me to just be that girl from Alabama and to shine my light. This is awesome.”
