Vanessa Hudgens went on a date with Los Angeles Lakers player Kyle Kuzma on January 21 just one week after news broke of her split from Austin Butler! The Bad Boys For Life actress and the NBA star have been flirty on social media.
Vanessa, 31, and Kyle, 24, were spotted having a candlelit dinner in Brooklyn, New York at Lilia. The pair appeared very comfortable with each other and laughed over a glass of red wine.
The NBA player seemed to be making the most of his time in New York ahead of the Lakers game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on January 22.
Vanessa and Kyle’s outing comes after the pair have been flirty on social media. On January 14, the Bad Boys For Life star sat courtside at a Lakers game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. She shared a video from the sidelines captioned, “Ugh @lakers @kingjames @kuz @dwighthoward my heroes.”
On January 18, Kyle posted a photo of himself from the Lakers game against the Houston Rockets. He captioned it, “Yeaaaa we like thattttt.” Vanessa took to the comments section and wrote, “Ya we doooo.”
The High School Musical alum and the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star sparked split rumors after Austin didn’t spend time with Vanessa for her birthday on December 13. The two were also separated for the holidays.
On January 18, Kyle posted a photo of himself from the Lakers game against the Houston Rockets. He captioned it, “Yeaaaa we like thattttt.” Vanessa took to the comments section and wrote, “Ya we doooo.”
Vanessa’s re-entry into the dating world is just a week after it was revealed that she and Austin, 28, broke up after nearly nine years of dating. “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup,” an insider told Us Weekly on January 14.
