It's been less than two weeks since Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been behind bars and his Jersey Shore co-star, Vinny Guadagnino, is already trying to get him out — with the help of Kim Kardashian West! Scroll through to get all the details.
As OK! readers know, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has previously used her social media influence to support and advocate for prisoners who have received extreme sentences.
After meeting with political figures, Kim, 38, helped get Alice Marie Johnson released from prison in June 2018 and Cyntoia Brown in early January 2019.
While at LAX airport recently, Vinny, 31, was asked how Mike, 36, is holding up in prison. "I heard he's doing great in there," he responded, according to reports. "I knew he was going to be good. He was never really nervous about it, so I was praying, 'I hope once he's in there it's okay.'" Vinny further explained, "He's so strong mentally."
The Staten Island native then proceed to deliver his pitch to the beauty mogul. “Kim, Mike is an amazing person. To me, he’s completely reformed,” he said.

“He’s a great member of society. He preaches to kids that have addictions, he’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery. He’d be better off out here helping people," Vinny added. “Kim, get on that!”
MTV fans have been rooting for Mike's return since he began his eight-month stint behind bars on January 15 after pleading guilty to one count of tax evasion in October 2018.
On behalf of the 36-year-old, his wife, Lauren Pesce tweeted on January 17, "Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love and support."
She continued, "We speak every day and he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and every one of you."
Kim has yet to respond to Vinny's request.
