Wendy Williams was in the midst of a cheating scandal just several months ago, after reports surfaced that her husband of twenty years, Kevin Hunter, was cheating on her with a 32-year-old massage therapist! But in a new interview, she is giving him praise, saying that he was her rock as she dealt with her recent health scare.
As reported, the talk show host, who has never taken a day off work from her television gig, was told by her doctor that she needed to stay home for three weeks and rest, after it was revealed she suffers from Graves' disease and has thyroid issues.
And Wendy told People that Kevin took her health scare the hardest. “My husband was extremely concerned. He’s not just my husband, he’s my business partner, one of the executive producers on the show and he’s also my manager. He and I are glued at the hip.”
She continued, “He was with me every step,” even taking her to and from doctor’s appointments in New York City from their home in New Jersey. “For him, seeing me go through all of this, it’s really been trying on him. I’ve been concerned about him. I’m like, ‘Don’t worry about me!'”
