Wendy Williams Is Getting A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!

Wendy Williams was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The Wendy Williams Show host is joining the class of 2020 and is receiving a star for her contribution to television.

Wendy’s team wrote on Instagram on June 21, “Join us in congratulating Wendy, who is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!”

“She joins Julia Roberts, Andy Cohen, Kathie Lee Gifford and more who are part of the 2020 class,” the announcement read.

Wendy is being honored in the category of television, which is huge considering she no longer has to split credit for her success with her cheating ex-husband Kevin Hunter.

The two split in April after he got his mistress Sharina Hudson pregnant. Following the breakup, Wendy fired Kevin as an executive producer.

“Now, the difference in my business is that — you know, ‘cause it used to be Kev and the team would show up, and then Kev wouldn’t bring me in until he knew, ‘OK, the deal’s done. Now it’s time for you to meet the people,’” she said at the FWD conference on June 20. “Not now. I wanna be in on the first conversation of the deal, and I wanna be on every meeting until the deal is done. And that’s the way I roll.”

Aside from business, she’s been more social, welcoming friends like Blac Chyna, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kris Jenner, and even rumored boyfriend Marc Tomblin.

Wendy looks to be having more fun than ever, but a source told Us Weekly on June 19, “Friends close to her are worried she’s spiraling out of control.” The talk show host still struggles with sobriety.
