Zayn Malik may have quit One Direction to stay out of the spotlight, but paparazzi couldn’t get enough of the singer when he was spotted In London a day after announcing his departure from the band.
Zayn tried to remain incognito as he made his way to a studio with his head down. He rocked a navy blue and red sweater with a black hat.
The singer turned to Facebook on March 25 to share the heartbreaking news with fans that he is leaving the band. “My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined,” he wrote. “But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologize to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."
Zayn landed back in London on March 20 after announcing that he would not join his bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne for their Manila and Jakarta shows because of stress.

The former band member was accompanied by his fiancée, Perrie Edwards. The announcement of his departure from the band came days after reports claimed Zayn cheated on her after he was spotted with a mystery blonde.
Zayn set the record straight on Twitter, “I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f—ks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x.”
