Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Reconnected With Peter Kraus ... 3 Years After Split!

No awkward moments here! Rachel Lindsay revealed she spoke with her ex, Peter Kraus, for the first time since their uncomfortable After the Final Rose appearance in 2017.
"I’ve even communicated with Peter Kraus and that’s probably going to be a shocker to so many people," the 35-year-old said on the Tuesday, September 15, episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" during a conversation with her cohost, Becca Kufrin. "People are thinking of the last time we saw each other, which was on stage, but that was three years ago. We’re adults here, we can all move on."
The former flames reconnected amid the Black Lives Matter movement. "He was asking me questions about it and stuff, like, for some advice about responses he had gotten," the former Bachelorette star dished.

The fitness instructor, 35, was Lindsay’s runner-up during her season of The Bachelorette, but she was nervous about his commitment issues. Ultimately, the Extra host chose Bryan Abasolo, whom she married in August 2019.
Even though the two seem to be on good terms now, they acknowledged they probably shouldn’t engage with one another on social media. "It would just turn into something that it shouldn't," she explained. "I still get messages that tell me, 'You were really into Peter.' It’s like, guys, I’m married now. I just celebrated our first anniversary. It’s sad because we were like, 'It’s probably not a good idea to hit that follow button.'"

These days, it seems like the podcast host is in a great spot with her hubby. In fact, the two just celebrated their anniversary in Aruba, and it looked like they had a blast while on vacation. "One year + FOREVER … I love you and I am beyond thankful for you," Lindsay wrote on Instagram.
For his part, Abasolo, 40, couldn’t help but gush over their relationship. "I can’t believe it’s already been a year since we both said 'I Do!' I consider myself beyond lucky to be able to call you my wife and truly blessed to be your husband," he said.
