Beyonce accepted her Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs in typical Beyonce-like fashion, meaning she left fans and viewers shaking and emotional. She performed snippets of every single song on her surprise album, starting with the slow jams and building up through her sexier songs. Then she segued into "Blue," and showed home videos of her beautiful baby girl.
The camera cut to Blue often, as she was sitting on dad Jay Z's lap. The sweetest moment was definitely when she made the little dancing hand gesture for "Flawless." She knows her mom's moves!

But of course it got better, as Jay and Blue came on stage to officially hand over the moon man to Beyonce. She cried as they came up, and all three hugged and kissed. The loveliest VMAs moment ever!
