OKMagazine.com was honored to be a part of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)'s aTVFest down in Atlanta last weekend. The three day festival brought together producers, executives, actors and more from the world of TV for panel discussions, screenings and Q&A events that were so inspiring and really celebrated how TV brings us all together in this digital age.

But, one of the highlights of the weekend was watching Nashville star Connie Britton receive the "Icon Award" and we caught up with her moments before she took the stage to accept. She talked to us exclusively about her own personal icons, teased what's ahead on Nashville and revealed her dream guest star from the country world.

Side note? Connie was so humbled and honored to be at the aTVfest to get recognized in such a positive way for her work that ranges from Nashville to American Horror Story to Friday Night Lights and tons more.  Being gracious and talented makes her a true icon on our book too!
