Were there or weren't there intruders last night at Miley Cyrus' home? That is the question.
It turns out there weren't — after cops responded to an emergency call! The L.A. police thought a crime was in progress and that shots had been fired.
They told GossipCop a call was received before 7 p.m. and an unknown caller made that claim. Police responded, thinking there was a home invasion. When they arrived on the scene, they saw a much different story.
Miley wasn't at home, and everything seemed completely normal. So, what was the deal? A police officer indicated the call was probably from a "911 abuser," which means someone who calls with false reports of crimes. That's no laughing matter though — it's a punishable offense.
The LAPD is looking into the matter but at least we know all is quiet at the Hannah Montana star's home.
