Calling all fans of the big, black bat! Director Christopher Nolan has finally revealed the name of this third Batman film, again to star Christian Bale: The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters in 2010. So who will the next villain be for the winged one to battle?

Unfortunately, Nolan is keeping his lips sealed on who it’ll be exactly, although he did tell the L.A. Times Hero Complex blog: “It won’t be the Riddler.”

Jim Carrey previously played The Riddler, or Edward Nygma, in Batman Forever, opposite Val Kilmer.

“We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,” Nolan said, which could leave an opening for Harvey Dent, played by Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight, to make a reappearance.

Nolan previously said the next Batman flick would not attempt to replace the late Heath Ledger as The Joker.
