Last week we reported that Rihanna invited 150 journalists and 100 select fans on a week-long party jet while she embarked on her exhausting 7 shows, 7 cities, 7 days tour — otherwise known as the 777 Tour.
Those who were gifted access were pleased last week when Rihanna kicked off the tour with champagne for everyone and emerged from hiding, giving fans and writers the kind of first hand access they were promised.
Well, things have gone down hill fast, report several news outlets.
While the shows have generally rocked (they've traveled to Mexico City, Toronto, Paris, Stockholm, Berlin and London) the way Rihanna's management has handled the 250 extra bodies on tour has been less than ideal.
Often times reporters are without wifi when they're supposed to be covering each show, meals are few and far between and many hour delays cause the weary journalists to be up for 25 hours waiting for hotel rooms, shows or even a glass of water.
It was today that Australian DJ, Jason Newman, decided to strip down and run naked through the private jet on the flight from Berlin to London. Those on board have described Jason's streaking as a final act of rebellion against the general mistreatment.
The tour officially ends tomorrow night in NYC…let's hope everyone aboard makes it.
