Combine remaining ingredients, except the soda. Add ice and shake well. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with soda and stir lightly to mix. Garnish with lime wedge and straw. As an alternative to sour mix, dissolve 1 tsp sugar in 1/2 part fresh lime juice before muddling. Garnish with an orange slice and skewered cherry.

Strain into a chilled coupe and add sparkling wine. Garnish with a wide twist of orange peel.

To Make Infused-Vermouth: Macerate 1/4 of a Cucumber with 2 barspoons of Rose Water in a quart of Martini Dry Vermouth. Let infuse for 36-48 hours. Strain back into Dry Vermouth bottle. This keeps for 12 weeks.

White cranberry juice 1/2 oz. Pomegranate syrup Directions: Muddle two limes in a shaker, add absolute, cointreau, white cranberry juice, and pomegranate syrup over ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Add a cube of dry ice (about the size of a grape) to garnish and watch martini smoke. Let dry ice dissolve completely before consuming cocktail.
