Sandra Bullock has kept mainly to herself since reports surfaced of her husband Jesse James’
infidelity in March.
But, the Blind Side star made her first public appearance in months at the Spike TV Guy’s Choice Awards on Saturday night.
“The bold the brave the very beautiful Sandra Bullock,” Robert Downey Jr. presented the actress with the “Troops’ Choice Entertainer of The Year” award at Sony Studios.
Sandra, who seemed to be in good spirits, walked out on stage to a standing ovation, looking spectacular in a black, skintight dress with her hair down.
The 45-year-old bowed to the men and women of the armed services as she stood in front of the microphone.
“So um, let’s be honest here for a moment. Did I win this for the spectacular IED that became my personal life?” Sandra joked on June 5.
“Because if it was, I would do it again and again for the troops… I would sing, but you have sing pain in your lifetime. I wanted to thank the men and woman that make it possible for. Me to speak freely, act freely, and do the right thing.”
The Oscar-winner walked off to yet another standing ovation.
The new mom to adopted son Louis Bardo Bullock, is set to make another guest appearance at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night.
