Avril Lavigne and her new boyfriend Mod Sun looked like rock 'n' roll royalty as they pulled up to celeb hotspot Nobu Malibu in a classic Cadillac Coupe DeVille on Tuesday, June 8.
Alongside her green-haired musician beau, who just announced his new upcoming documentary Fight Club, the Canadian songstress was decidedly dressed down for her dinner date at the swanky restaurant, wearing a loose black tee, black distressed jeans, black sneakers and matching trucker hat.
But the "Complicated" singer garnered some major fashion points by carrying a highly-coveted Hermès Birken Bag in a shocking lemon-lime neon shade.
Named after the English actress and singer Jane Birkin, Hermès introduced the Birkin in the 1980s and quickly became a symbol of wealth and exclusivity due to its high price and assumed long waiting lists.
Currently Birkin prices start at $11,000 for regular leather and have reached up to $380,000 when a bag made of exotic skin and diamond was sold at auction by Christie's in Hong Kong for a record price in May 2017.
