Ryan Reynolds rolled up his sleeve this week to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The 44-year-old documented the big moment on the 'gram, sharing a photo of himself masked up alongside a medical professional. Rocking a white tee and hot-pink knit ribbed beanie hat, the Deadpool actor poked fun at some of the wild conspiracies floating around about the virus, captioning the pic, "Finally got 5G."
Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, have both been doing their part to give back to the community during the ongoing global pandemic. Last month, Feeding America and Food Banks Canada both revealed in respective social media posts that the hunky Canadian and the 33-year-old Gossip Girl alum, pledged $500,000 to each organization in support of their COVID-19 Response Funds.
"We are honored and privileged to be able to continue our support of Feeding America and Food Banks Canada." the couple said in a statement, posted by Feeding America. "We know the struggles so many of our neighbors faced last year are not over, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate the important work of food banks across the US and Canada to be able to provide nourishing meals to people in need."
The two stars had previously donated $500,000 to both organizations when the pandemic first began in early 2020, according to PEOPLE.
The adorable image of Reynolds in his pink beanie will now always been associated with the vaccine to us — and we stan!
