But she saved the bigger spectacle for later that night—a booze-fueled marathon that has those close to the singer fearing she’s taking her good-time-girl ways too far.

A source reports that Katy, 29, and Riff Raff, 32, stumbled into Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills after the awards show, “already on another level.” A disheveled Katy ordered a vodka soda, chugged it “in seconds” and burped, the source claims, adding, “She had trouble keeping her eyes open.” Pals are concerned Katy’s binge drinking is just masking a broken heart following her March split from John Mayer. “Katy is trying to cover up her loneliness by partying,” says one insider. “She’s terrifed of turning 30 and not having anyone special.”

Her antics with Riff Raff indicate as much: Our source says that as they exited Mastro’s, they joked about picking out names for their kids, and Katy slurred, “I love him.” But no matter how friends try to intervene, Katy shows no signs of slowing down. Despite her rough night, a source says, she was back on the sauce the next day, tossing back Bloody Marys and bubbly as she got ready for Emmys parties—but not before tweeting a PSA: “Remember kids, there’s a reason the word pain is in champagne.”
