NEWS'DWTS' Watch: Jake Pavelka Stumbles Off the Dance Floor

It didn’t come up roses for Bachelor Jake Pavelka on Tuesday night’s Dancing with the Stars, who was eliminated yesterday for his samba stumble the previous night.
The pilot who famously proposed to Vienna Girardi (pictured here with Jake) on his last ABC reality series showed his love of show business — and for taking risks — when he gave dancing a try.
Although Jake surprised many by displaying rhythm, he had a tendency to trip over his feet. And after Monday night, when he and Chelsie Hightower got the lowest combined score for their slippery samba and group swing marathon, only 25 out of 40, viewers sent him packing.
After the show, Jake, with partner Chelsie by his side, told OK!: “I’m bummed out but we’ve been dancing together now for about nine weeks and I’m leaving the best dancer I can possibly be.

"I have no regrets. It’s not like, I should have done this or I wish I’d done that. I did everything I could do.”
When asked why he was voted off on the sixth week of competition, Jake said, “I don’t know. But it’s okay.”

Still, Jake was teary-eyed on camera after the show, telling his partner Chelsie, “I love you” as his fiancée Vienna sobbed in the audience. He told OK!, “Chelsie made me a dancer and it’s something that I’ll continue for the rest of my life. Now Vienna is going to take lessons with me!”

And they’re also going to take a break from the public eye to reconnect as a couple after his weeks of constant dance rehearsal, Jake said.

“The plan is probably to go back to Texas for a week or a couple of days and I kind of feel like I’m going to take her to a little island in the middle of nowhere and we’re going to nurture and work on our relationship because she has put her life on hold for me.”
Jake said they’re talking about a 2011 wedding: “We haven’t set a date but that’s the direction that we’re headed.”

And the handsome pilot, known for showing his abs on The Bachelor, said he lost weight on DWTS. “I’m happy. I was a 32 waist and now I’m down to a 30.”
As far as his career, Jake said, “you never know what door God’s going to swing open.
