You ate your lunch approximately 45 minutes ago, yet you hear a gurgling (with a growing decibel) coming from your stomach region. How on EARTH could you be ready to snack again? Alas, it's the question that office workers have been asking for ages.

That lack in movement and increase in appetite tends to equate to one unfriendly (at least in the bikini department) situation—an increase of lbs. But when you swap out your potato chips for these tips by Jay Cardiello, you won't have to worry about your work load hindering your weight. Check out Jay's best tips below.

1. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water per day.

2. Pick a crunchy snack.

"Keep frozen fruits in a zip-lock cooker in and around your desk. With that crunchy sensation, you’re going to actually enjoy the snacks a little more."

3. Separate your snacks.

"It might take an extra couple of minutes, but put your snacks in smaller zip-lock bags. We generally eat the size of the container. If you have a large bag of potato chips, you’re going to eat it. If you have a smaller bag of potato chips, you’re not going to eat that same amount."
