'90 Day Fiancé' Star Angela Deem Visits A Chiropractor In 'Cracked' YouTube Series Following Transformational Weight Loss
Angela Deem is taking the time to tune into her body.
The 90 Day Fiancé star — who looks nearly unrecognizable following her major weight loss journey — is finally addressing the back pain that has been bothering her for years.
On Wednesday, the first episode of the YouTube series CRACKED with Josh Adams aired, featuring the reality star’s August visit.
Adams is a Sports Medicine Chiropractic Physician from St. Louis, Missouri, who started to make a name for himself on social media.
He began creating content on TikTok to share his expertise when his account blew up, and now he has over 1.1 million followers on the app.
He decided to take his show “on the road,” with his first stop being Los Angeles, where he treated the larger than life TV personality.
Deem revealed in the episode that she was having some problems with her back and her neck, which could have something to do with multiple different factors.
“I used to ride horses,” she shared in the episode. “I’ve been kicked off, bucked off. I’ve kicked a few doors in….And I’ve had two babies that’s affected, the epidurals affected my lower back.”
She explained that it was her manager who suggested that Adams might be able to fix her up, saying, “She said he’s the best, but if he’s not, I’m damn sure going to let you know.”
During her consultation with the chiropractor, Deem explained that she believed the epidurals from over 30 years had something to do with her chronic pain. She also revealed that she worked as a certified nursing assistant, which was demanding for her body.
She also thought her pain might have something to do with her body type which she described as “stout.”
Adams brought up that the reality star recently had a major weight transformation, where she lost over 100 pounds.
Back in March, Deem confirmed that she had undergone gastric sleeve surgery in 2020, which is a surgical procedure for patients looking to lose weight.
In October 2020, she opened up about her plans to get the surgery during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 tell-all. Her husband, Michael Illesanmi, wasn’t happy about her decision to get surgery, although the TV personality insisted she needed to do it for serious health reasons.
