Addison Rae Makes Quip About Being Out Of A Job After Revealing Her TikTok Account Was Permanently Banned
Time for a new career? Addison Rae Easterling might have just been banned on TikTok.
The “Obsessed” singer revealed on her Twitter account on Thursday, October 14 that her TikTok account was “permanently banned due to multiple violations” of the app’s “Community Guidelines.”
She tweeted the screenshot from TikTok, while joking, “Well time to get a job.”
The 21-year-old quickly rose to fame as one of the biggest names on the video-sharing platform, where she has over 85 million followers.
According to Forbes, the social media star was the app’s highest-earning content creator last year, making an estimated $5 million from June 2019 to June 2020.
She was followed closely behind by Charlie D’Amelio, and her older sister Dixie D’Amelio.
It is unclear whether or not Easterling’s account will actually remain banned, as other users have also been banned due to massive amounts of users wrongfully reporting their content.

The young influencer — who started out dancing on the app — shouldn’t have trouble finding new ways to make cash.
In addition to the boatload of sponsorships she has with brands, including American Eagle, Loréal, and more, she has even started to dabble in the film industry.
She recently starred in the Netflix film He’s All That, which premiered on the streaming platform back in August as a remake of the original 90s hit She’s All That.
The young entertainer has also made headlines for her unlikely friendship with megastar Kourtney Kardashian, who is roughly twice her age.
Back in May, Easterling showed support for her new pal by saying she is “obsessed” with the reality star’s relationship with Travis Barker.
“I love Kourtney and I love Travis, they’re both amazing people and I wish them the best. They’re so cute,” she previously stated.
She also revealed that Kourntey’s younger sister Kim Kardashian has been a good friend to keep around because of her wise tips about being in the limelight.
“She just gave me great advice,” Easterling said about the SKIMS founder. “I think the entire family has always been so sweet to me and so loving and caring, just giving me advice on how to keep my spirits up especially in the tough times that come with, you know, kind of being under pressure in the spotlight sometimes. But they’re all amazing, I love the Kardashian family so much,” she added.
