Alex Rodriguez Insists He's 'Super Down To Earth' While Posing Next To $140K Porsche He Seemingly Gifted Ex-Fiancée Jennifer Lopez
Talk about being modest. Alex Rodriguez comically insisted he was "super down to earth" while posing alongside the flashy $140K red Porsche he seemingly gifted ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez for her 50th birthday.
In the photo, posted to Instagram on Wednesday, August 18, A.Rod was all smiles as he donned a tan two-piece suit with a matching tie, white dress shirt, dark brown shoes and snazzy sunglasses.
The New York Yankees icon leaned back on the Porsche 911 GTS convertible, which was parked besides two other cars — one being a Mercedes.
Fans were quick to recognize the car in his post as the one he gave Lopez in July 2019, with one user commenting: "Savage. Posing with the car he bought jlo for her bday lmfao." Another fan chimed in, writing: "You took the car back from Jlo," as a third added, "looks like jlo left not only you but the red car too," with crying laughing emojis.
It remains unclear if the car in the photo was in fact the car Rodriguez gifted Lopez, but either way, fans had a field day with poking fun at the situation.
Unfortunately Rodriguez's ex-fiancée — who called it quits with the athlete in April — won't get a chance to see him flaunting the whip: Lopez unfollowed him on Instagram just days before he posted the pic. The Latin pop star seemed to really want to cut ties from the 46-year-old, given that she also deleted all traces of the handsome hunk from her social media account.

Shortly after calling things off with A. Rod, Lopez happily moved on with beau Ben Affleck. And while the Gone Girl actor didn't present Lopez with an eye-catching new whip for her 52nd birthday, their trip around Europe and the diamond "Ben" necklace Affleck gifted her were certainly ones for the books.
The new power couple — who dated in the early 2000s and got engaged before breaking up in 2004 — took a lavish trip in July to the French Riviera on a luxury yacht to celebrate Lopez's 52nd year around the sun.
Apart from sending fans wild by going Instagram official during their intimate getaway, the "On The Floor" songstress was seen wearing the diamond letters of her boyfriend's name on her neck.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez has made it clear that he's also doing better than ever after their relationship ended. The former flames began dating in 2017 before Rodriguez popped the question in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding twice before they ultimately went their separate ways.
Rodriguez has since been posting thirst trap photos and videos of himself working out and shirtless, as well as snaps of him working on his latest business endeavors.
