Alix Earle's Dad Says Affair With Ashley Dupré 'Was All My Fault' in Netflix Premiere

Thomas “TJ” Earle is confronting the family fallout from his 2008 affair with Ashley Earle, formerly known as Ashley Dupré, in the premiere of Netflix’s Earle Meets World.

“I didn’t know what the f--- to do,” TJ said in a confessional, recalling the fallout from the scandal that happened while he was married to Alisa Earle, the mother of daughters Alix Earle and Ashtin Earle, per Page Six.

“You have all these people around you [and] their whole world was blown up in a moment’s notice in a very public way,” he continued.

The 53-year-old businessman did not shift responsibility.

“It was all on me; it was all my fault,” he said.

TJ met Ashley “by chance at a bar” while he was still married to Alisa, according to his account in the episode.

Ashley recalled that she had been working as a cocktail waitress when she learned about a lucrative route to meeting wealthy clients.

She was told that she could get “$1,000 an hour for going on dates with high-profile people.”

Ashley had already become a national news figure in 2008 after an FBI investigation identified her as an escort connected to former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, whose scandal led to his resignation and eventual divorce.

“I always thought it could be my secret forever,” Ashley admitted.

The Earle affair later became public after the couple was photographed together at a New York hotel, exposing the relationship while TJ’s marriage to Alisa was still intact.

“That was a huge violation, and it was in the public eye, which made it more difficult,” Alisa revealed.

Alix, now 25, was in second grade when her father’s relationship with Ashley became tabloid news.

“There were paparazzi following us when we were going to get ice cream with my dad,” Alix recalled in Earle Meets World.

The influencer also revealed that she reacted badly when Ashley entered the family as TJ’s girlfriend, including putting toothpaste in Ashley’s shoes.

“You don’t forget what happened,” Alisa said while reflecting on the long-term impact of the affair. “It doesn’t mean we can’t all get along and enjoy the people that we love.”

TJ and Ashley married in 2013 and share three children: daughters Izabel and Penelope, and son Thomas.

Alisa, who is dating New Jersey sales executive Todd Galski, said the births of the younger children helped repair some of the fractured family bonds.

Later in the series, she reads aloud a lengthy text aimed at Alex Cooper, the “Call Her Daddy” host and founder of Unwell Network, where Alix worked from 2023 to 2025.

“I don’t like you,” Alix said in the message directed at Alex, per Page Six. “I’m not gonna fall for your bait, getting into a back and forth online. And I don’t think you want that, either.”

Alix’s “Hot Mess” podcast was dropped by Unwell Network in February 2025.

“You are manipulative and toxic,” she continued. “Go ahead and say ‘it’s just business’ all you want, but the way you approach business is disgusting.”

The text also contains Alix’s allegation that Alex once warned her against escalating their conflict.

“We had a call where you threatened me to not go to war with you, because you know how sick and twisted you are,” she revealed.

“You will no longer scare or trap me,” she continued. “I may be petty, but I’m not malicious. If there’s one thing I learned from doing business with you, it’s to never do business with anyone like you.”
