Teen Mom Troubles! Amber Portwood's Ex Confesses He Took $38K From Their Joint Account While She Was In Jail
Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood's ex Andrew Glennon admitted to transferring $38,000 from his and his ex's joint account to his personal bank account.
The reality tv personalities — who share 3-year-old son James — are back in court as their heated custody battle continues. Glennon previously accused Portwood of domestic violence against him as well as substance abuse while pregnant. Now, the father-of-one has elaborated on some of what happened while the mother of his child was in jail.
In an audio testimony, Glennon confessed to draining their joint bank account following Portwood's July 2019 arrest for domestic abuse.
"I told Amber that I was doing that," he explained during cross examination in audio obtained by The Sun. "That was the plan before the attack even happened."

Back in 2019, according to the outlet, Portwood's brother reportedly took to Twitter to slam Glennon for choosing that moment to take their money, giving her no option but to ask him when she needed bail money. However, other sources claimed the joint account was compromised and the exes needed to make the switch for safety reasons.
"Amber and Andrew became aware of their joint bank account being manipulated, and the couple agreed the best thing to do was to suspend that account and transfer the funds," a source spilled to Us Weekly at the time. "She insisted on removing all the money from their joint account and buying a safe."
As OK! previously reported, the Teen Mom alum "successfully completed" her probation in connection with her July arrest on Tuesday, April 26. Portwood had been sentenced to 906 days probation. She was also ordered to pay a $1,285 fine and complete a 26-week Batterer's Intervention Program.
"She submitted twenty-one negative drug tests and did not miss a scheduled test or test positive for any illicit substances or alcohol," the court documents stated. "The probationer having successfully completed all terms of probation, by operation of law, is now discharged from probation."
