'American Pickers' Fired Host Frank Fritz Wants His Own Show As Feud With Former Pal Mike Wolfe Rages On: 'I Have The Capabilities'
Frank Fritz is ready to move on!
Following his shocking firing from History’s hit series American Pickers, the reality TV star is itching to get back on the small screen.
Although he did candidly admit he would be “more than happy” to return to his old series, he is interested in starring on a completely different show. “I could go either way and find a new show, have something new and have just as much fun,” he spilled.
“That’s what it’s all about, being satisfied with yourself and having a little bit of fun,” he told The Sun, adding that with his health and current sober status, “I do think I’m in the mode right now to get picked up. I’m in the position now where if there was a show or something, they could pick me up.”
He continued gloating about how his experience in TV and work ethic should be enough to make him highly sought-after. “They know I can work 15 hours a day, they know I can work seven days a week,” he explained. “They know I have been working for 10, 12 years and that I have the capabilities and the qualities to do it.”

As Fritz would like to return to American Pickers, it appears his former friend and costar Mike Wolfe feels the same way, but knows that he’s just not mentally prepared for it.
“Frank is just going through a lot personally with addictions,” Wolfe said, OK! reported. “It's unfortunate that he's made decisions that have him the way he is.”
In late July after rumors began to swirl that Fritz was getting the axe from the rare artifacts series, Wolfe posted a lengthy message via Instagram stating that he would “miss” him.
“I have known Frank for as long as I can remember, he’s been like a brother to me,” the 57-year-old show’s creator said in a statement on Wednesday, July 21. “The journey that Frank, Dani and I started back in 2009, like all of life, has come with its highs and lows, blessings and challenges, but it has also been the most rewarding.”
He continued: “I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey.”
