According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the standup comic has not been officially charged with any crime as of yet, but he is still under investigation. He is scheduled to appear back in court on Wednesday, August 10, but if he is not charged in connection with the incident by the time the court date comes around, the case will be dismissed.

As OK! previously reported, Dick's arrest was livestreamed by Captain Content's RV. In the video clip, Dick is shown talking for a moment with Orange County deputies before he is cuffed and taken into custody.

ANDY DICK ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON AFTER ALLEGEDLY 'ASSAULTING HIS LOVER WITH A METAL CHAIR'

This isn't the first time Dick has been hit with backlash for inappropriate sexual contact. In 2017, he was fired from indie feature film Raising Buchanan for allegedly "groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing/licking and sexual propositions."

"I don't grope people anymore. I don't expose myself anymore," he said in a phone interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the time. "I do understand that the temperature in the world right now is delicate."

The following year, the Employee of the Month actor was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery after a woman accused him of grabbing her backside and making lewd comments to her in 2018. That same year, a male ride-share driver alleged Dick groped him.
