Kaitlyn Bristowe has found her happily ever after! The former Bachelorette is engaged to fellow Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick.
The 32-year-old proposed to the brunette beauty while the couple filmed an episode of Bristowe's "Off the" Vine" podcast together on Monday, May 10 in Nashville, Tenn.
"It was everything I could have asked for," Bristowe gushed to ET. "The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We've never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word, but still blacked out."
The 35-year-old was told she would be interviewing a special surprise guest, but found out around the 30-minute mark that that was not happening.
"Jason's like, 'Kaitlyn, we're not doing a podcast.' And I'm like, 'You forgot to hit record, didn't you!'" Bristowe recalled, laughing. "He was like, 'No, this is something else,' and he got up and I saw him bring out a ring box from the drawer."
"I was trying to be present but I was so overwhelmed, and I was so embarrassed, because I was wearing a T-shirt that said, 'Tequila for Breakfast,'" she added. "I was like, 'This feels very on brand, but also very inappropriate."

Tartick popped the question with a stunning, 5.09-carat oval shaped-diamond ring is from Paris Jewellers, a small Canadian business right outside the town where the bride-to-be was born. The Diamond Pro estimates the sparker $500,000 to $600,000 depending on the cut quality, color and clarity of the diamond.
The Dancing With the Stars champion broke the news to Instagram followers on Tuesday, posting series of photos taken by Stephanie Sorenson with the caption, "Don't pinch me."
Tartick, who appeared as a contest of on season 14 of The Bachelorette, with Becca Kufrin, posted similar series of photo on his IG account. "Choosing your forever is the most important decision in the world," he wrote. "@kaitlynbristowe you made that decision so easy! Love you to death and forever."
The two first connected after Tartick appeared on the "Off the Vine" podcast in the fall of 2018. At the time, Bristowe was engaged to her season 11 Bachelorette. winner Shawn Booth. The couple ended their engagement in November 2018 and Tartick and Bristowe eventually went on their first date in January 2019.
By June 2019, they announced that they had moved into a house together in Nashville and even adopted a dog. Now that the couple is set to wed, they could be looking to expand their family even further.
"We’re on the same page, 100 percent on the same page," Tartick previously told Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti on the September 17 episode of their "Almost Famous" podcast. "In quarantine, it’s funny, we have one of our kids’ names picked out already. Really normal, right? So yeah, we’re on the same page."
