Barron Trump Needs to Address Friendship With Accused Rapist Andrew Tate, PR Guru Says: 'His Silence Will Start to Look Like Loyalty'

Barron Trump could get dragged into Andrew and Tristan Tate's legal woes, and a PR expert believes his next steps in the ordeal could make or break his reputation.

The Tate brothers were recently arrested and are facing dozens of charges including rape, s-- trafficking and more. It was previously revealed that the first son, 20, befriended Andrew, which led to Arizona Rep. Yassmin Ansari calling for Barron to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee.

PR consultant Sam Gauchier told the Irish Star that the NYU student needs to be strategic about how he handles the situation.

"I don’t think Barron needs to put out a statement announcing the end of a friendship. That’s just a terrible idea and would just draw more attention to the relationship and also hand Andrew Tate exactly what his public brand thrives on: attention, conflict and the chance to cast himself as the person powerful people are trying to silence," she explained. "But Barron should understand that doing nothing is still a choice people will interpret too."

"His silence will start to look like loyalty," Sarah said. "At that point, saying ‘I never publicly supported him’ won’t be as convincing."

"The question Barron should ask himself isn’t only, ‘Do I believe my friend?’ It’s also, ‘Am I comfortable with what this person publicly represents?’" she shared. "Because those are not the same question."

While Barron has not commented on his relationship with the Tates, Andrew previously revealed he spoke with Barron after the July 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life, spilling, “I’m very close with the Trump family."

The Tate siblings have faced a slew of charges over the years, most recently being arrested in Florida. It's been requested they're extradited to the U.K. for multiple pending charges including rape, s-- trafficking, child pornography and assault.

The arrest prompted Rep. Yassmin to request Barron to testify.

"The committee must learn from Barron Trump about his knowledge of the Tate brothers’ crimes, if he had any involvement whatsoever, and if he communicated with members of his father’s administration or the president himself regarding their legal proceedings," she explained. "Most egregiously, investigative reports have detailed direct, extensive communications between Andrew Tate and Barron Trump."

As OK! reported, an exposé claimed Barron began communicating with the Tates after they learned he was a fan.

In The New Yorker’s piece, author Heidi Blake wrote, “Tate forged relationships with Barron Trump and Donald Trump, Jr. In the weeks before the vote, he pumped out pro-MAGA content, mobilizing young men in such large numbers that Kamala Harris later named him as a key factor in her defeat. When the result was in, Tate posted jubilantly on X: ‘THE PATRIARCHY IS BACK.’ After the Inauguration, he added, ‘The Tates will be free, Trump is the president.’"
