Co-parenting champs! Jennifer Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck were spotted taking their son, Samuel, to his swim lessons over the weekend.
Garner and Affleck co-starred in the 2001 hit film Pearl Harbor, but it wasn’t until after they appeared together in 2003’s Daredevil that the two went public with their relationship. The happy couple tied the knot in June 2005 before shockingly calling it quits in 2018. They share three children together: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
The A-listers have set a prime example for the rest of Hollywood on how to handle co-parenting after a breakup.
Although the former flames met up to support their son in his extracurricular activities, we’re sure the topic of Affleck spending time with his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez surely came up. OK! was the first to exclusively report that Lopez and her ex-fiancé, who called off their September 2003 wedding, have been in private communication since she called it quits with former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
Then, OK! learned that Affleck was spotted multiple times secretly visiting the “If You Had My Love” singer at her house during the day. The actor was snapped being picked up in a white Escalade SUV, which apparently belongs to J.Lo, before being escorted to her mansion.
"Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house,” a source dished, while noting that the ex-couple has not actually been photographed together. Affleck allegedly visited Lopez three times since she returned home from filming Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic.
How does Garner feel about her baby daddy hanging out with his ex-fiancée? A source close to the actress recently spilled that “Jen isn't bothered by Ben hanging out with J.Lo or anyone else,” adding: “She wants what is best for Ben."
The source told ET: "What matters most to her is Ben being a great dad. They've been in a good groove when it comes to co-parenting for a while and their kids' happiness is Jen's main priority."
