Jennifer Lopez's Daughter Emme Joins Ben Affleck & His Children On Family Outing
Ben Affleck had his hands full over the weekend. The Way Back star enjoyed a family outing with two of his children — and one of Jennifer Lopez's kids.
The 48-year-old was photographed on Sunday, July 11, with his son Samuel, his daughter Seraphina and Lopez's 13-year-old daughter Emme at Universal City Walk. Lopez and her son Max were nowhere to be found, TMZ reported.
Days earlier, Lopez was reportedly spotted with Max looking at a school in Los Angeles, Calif, amid rumors of a move.
The fun day out with Affleck appears to be a big step forward in Bennifer 2.0's relationship.
An insider previously told OK! that Lopez had reached out to Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner "to organize a sit-down, but it's going to take some persuading." (Affleck and Garner share Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9). "Jen's still a bit skeptical about Bennifer 2.0 and worries about the children being exposed to any unnecessary romantic dysfunction," an insider explained.
The J.Lo Beauty founder — who shares the twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony — "knows the kids are a touchy subject, and she wants to do this only with Jen's consent," the insider added. "J.Lo’s willing to abide by their mom’s rules — and you can bet they’ll be tough!"

While the pair may seem to be moving fast after rekindling their romance following Lopez's split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez in April, "in reality they are picking up where they left off. Jen and Ben both know everything about each other — the good, the bad and the ugly. They are not starting at square one," a source previously told OK!.
The pair met while filming Gigli and got engaged in 2002 before postponing the wedding and eventually calling it quits in 2004.
"They are meant to be together and will make it official before the end of the year," the source said. "Neither Ben nor Jen are messing about here. This isn’t a silly game. If Jen wasn’t serious about Ben, he wouldn’t be having dinner with her kids, mom and sister."
Meanwhile, another source told OK! that Rodriguez has allegedly been dissing Lopez, 51, and laughing at how "cheesy" their relationship was. "But it’s got to burn that Jen and Ben hooked up so quickly and are still going strong," the insider said.
"At this point, Alex feels so betrayed and humiliated that he’s got nothing much to lose. His priorities right now are having fun — and getting even," the source noted.
Lopez and Rodriguez postponed their wedding twice amid the coronavirus pandemic before they split up for good. Rodriguez shares teenage daughters Natasha and Ella with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
